Matthew Thornton was a signer of the Declaration of Independence from New Hampshire. Born in Ireland, he immigrated to the American colonies with his parents when he was just a toddler. Matthew became a physician and opened his own practice, but was soon pulled into politics, where he became a dedicated public servant to his colony and later the state of New Hampshire. This is Matthew’s unique, inspiring story.
